Fall Pumpkin Banana Smoothie

Pumpkin and apple are the perfect pairing in this fall breakfast or snack smoothie. This healthy
Pumpkin-Apple Breakfast Smoothie is made with a pinch of pumpkin pie spice and protein that
will keep you full for hours!

Serves: 2

INGREDIENTS

 

  • ¼ cup plus 3 tbsp. Bob’s Red Mill gluten-free quick oats

  • ¼ cup can of organic pumpkin

  • 1 medium apple, cut into pieces (I used organic Gala and left the skin on)

  • ½ banana, sliced and frozen

  • ½ cup milk non-gmo almond milk

  • ⅛ tsp. nutmeg

  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon powder

  • 1/2 scoop or packet vanilla juice plus pure protein powder (gluten free)

  • 7 ice cubes

Directions

Place oats in blender and blend for about 30 seconds until finely chopped. Add remaining
ingredients and blend medium to high. Top with sprinkled cinnamon & serve immediately.
