Chocolate Energy Cacao Balls
​Plant-Based, Gluten-Free
Serves - 5-6

1 cup gluten-free organic quick oats

1/4 flax seed meal

1/2 scoop vegan protein powder (chocolate or vanilla)

2 tablespoon shredded unsweetened coconut flakes (Optional)

1 tablespoon virgin coconut oil

5 tablespoons almond butter
-
2 teaspoons pure maple syrup

3 tablespoon cacao powder
-
1 tablespoon water
-
1/2 mashed banana

Mash all ingredients with a fork until thoroughly blended. Roll into balls place in a jar in refrigerator give hour before eating....no need to cook! Can roll balls in chopped nuts, cinnamon or shredded coconut. Yum! Makes about 10 -12 rolled balls.
