Chocolate Energy Cacao Balls

​Plant-Based, Gluten-Free

Serves - 5-6

  • 1 cup gluten-free organic quick oats

  • 1/4 flax seed meal

  • 1/2 scoop vegan protein powder (chocolate or vanilla)

  • 2 tablespoon shredded unsweetened coconut flakes (Optional)

  • 1 tablespoon virgin coconut oil

  • 5 tablespoons almond butter

  • 2 teaspoons pure maple syrup

  • 3 tablespoon cacao powder

  • 1 tablespoon water

  • 1/2 mashed banana

Mash all ingredients with a fork until thoroughly blended. Roll into balls place in a jar in refrigerator give hour before eating....no need to cook! Can roll balls in chopped nuts, cinnamon or shredded coconut. Yum! Makes about 10 -12 rolled balls.
